Technology is available to generate the power of a Boeing 747
Jet Engine, using the air we breath
Energy from Hot Air?.......Really???....There is plenty of hot air around.
Tell me more!!
The air we breath is composed from at least two components,
Nitrogen and Oxygen
Nitrogen can be compressed and is sold for about $.30/gallon
at todays prices
When compressed to it's liquid state and released, nitrogen expands,
drawing heat from the air. It gets very cold......more than 200 degrees C below Zero.....close to absolute zero
OK. So what
At those very cold temperatures, the normally high resistance
in an electric wire, goes nearly to zero.
OK. So what?
With almost no resistance, large amounts of power can be generated
without electrical loss........even a very small, off the shelf
electric motor can produce enormous amounts of energy.
OK. How much is enormous?
Well a 12 horsepower electrical motor can produce roughly (52,000 pounds) about the equivalent thrust of a Boeing 747 Jet Engine.(48,000 pounds)
OK. That's a big statement, How much thrust is that?
14,000pounds thrust from a 3 hp off the shelf electric motor
12 hp pounds/hp = 52,000 pounds
About 52,000 pounds of thrust from a 12 HP electric motor
Wow, but what does it cost to generate this power?
Not much. 12 gallons of liquid nitrogen will do the job.....
at $.30/gallon, that is about $3.60....pretty cheap...huh?(2009-04-12 prices)
Wow......Really that cheap?.....
Actually, the deal gets even better.....
HOW?
Well, The liquid nitrogen does not burn. It is RE-CYCLED. Liquid Nitrogen is not like gasoline in a car which is burned by the gallon. Liquid Nitrogen is used like the freon in a refrigerator. Liquid Nitrogen is turned from a liquid to a gas and then re-compressed to a liquid again.
Unlike a car that needs to be re-filled every few hundred miles, this never needs re-filling. (It does need normal maintenance to prevent leaks)
Just recharge the battery at home from a wall socket.
Plug it in at night. Be ready to go in the morning.
No Kidding?
What is the advantage over liquid hydrogen?. I read a lot about that.
This looks like it could eliminate the need for fossil fuels.
YES. A BRILLIANT OBSERVATION.
What Happens if we stop using fossil fuels?
REMEMBER THE BUGGYWHIP?
Well, among other things
a. We can win the war with brains, not bullets
b. We stop sending our wealth to the middle east.
c. We can win the war without firing another shot.
d. We don't need to send our money to the Middle East Sheiks to buy
guns and bullets to kill our kids with or arab kids either.
e. We don't need to send our kids to the middle east to get killed either.
f. We can create new jobs. People can meet their mortgage payments
g. Car manufacturers can bring jobs back to the US
h. General Motors doesn't need to go bankrupt.
i. We stop polluting our air
j. Our arab friends can return to the tent and camel business
which has been their mainstay for centuries..
WOW. How can I help?
OK. Start by telling your friends and a
congressman.
Tell President Obama. He may have some money.
He has a printing press and a bankrupt company
(Government Motors aka GM) that needs some new ideas.
Tell your local newspaper. They need something for birds to read tor>
Here is HOW TO START
Tell your friends. Tell your congressman..
Tell President Obama,
This is a national defense project.
They won't listen to me. Maybe they will listen to another voter.
This looks, better and better. Can I get in on this deal?
Maybe. If you have some useful talents
What sort of useful talents?
That's your problem. If you want in, on the deal, send us a resume. We need talent with ideas.
Be sure to Send me a copy of the emails you send
so I can keep track of your efforts
